Ibraluks Rides Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Ibraluks Rides app collects from riders and drivers and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and role (rider or driver). Drivers may also provide a profile photo and vehicle details.
• Location: your device location, used to set pickup points, show nearby drivers, match rides, and track active trips. Drivers share location while online or on a trip.
• Trip information: pickup and drop-off locations, scheduled reservations, fare estimates, and trip history.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is entered into Stripe and is never stored by Ibraluks Rides. We keep payment records such as amount, status, and trip reference. You may also pay with cash.
• Phone and SMS: your phone number is verified with a one-time code sent by text message through Twilio.
• Driver documents: drivers upload proof of insurance, vehicle registration and an optional profile photo. These are stored privately and reviewed by Ibraluks Rides staff to decide whether a driver may go online. Drivers may also go through a background check.

How we use information

We use this information to provide rides, calculate fares, process payments, support riders and drivers, keep the service safe, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

• Supabase hosts our database, authentication, and backend services.
• Stripe processes card payments.
• Google Maps provides maps and location services.
• Twilio sends phone verification codes by SMS.

Riders and drivers on a trip can see information needed to complete it, such as name, pickup location, and live location during the trip.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and trip records while your account is active. After an account is deleted, trip and payment records, with names and contact details removed, are kept indefinitely for legal, tax, accounting, and safety purposes, unless we decide to delete them sooner.
